Ingredients:
- 200g fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 1 green bell pepper, julienned
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Fresh ginger, a 1-inch piece, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced chicken breast or tofu for protein
Instructions:
- Heat the sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to high and add the chicken or tofu (if using). Cook until browned.
- Add the mushrooms and onions, stirring frequently until they start to soften.
- Add the bell peppers and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for another minute or two until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
